I'm a little obsessed with taking pictures of Eden sleeping on her side! I think this new sleeping position is the cutest especially when she holds on to her giraffe or lovie blanky. Her cuteness makes up for the lack of sleep I've been getting I guess. The 4 month sleep regression has not let up. 😕 She has only slept through the night a handful of times this month. It started out as a growth spurt but must have developed into a new pattern. 🤔 She wakes up once during the night and takes a whole feeding. She is typically awake when I lay her back down and she goes right to sleep on her own so I figure she needed the feeding. I'm grateful she goes back to sleep quickly on her own and the whole ordeal is only 20 min but the interruption in sleep sure does make me tired! The nice thing is she will sleep in and I have wake her around 7/7:30 so our day isn't thrown off. If she sleeps through the night, we're up 6:30ish. I mentioned last month that I was worried about my milk supply due to the mastitis and other issues but I feel like the supply has returned! This has been a huge answer to prayer! Part of me wonders if the night feedings have helped with that too. The important thing is this sweet girl is happy and growing! This picture makes me smile because it shows off her chunky baby legs and arms! Ahhh! I just love this girl's smile! She is really starting to show off and develop her own personality. She still enjoys watching everything around her. After she finishes eating she likes to look at you and make adorable little talking noises. She likes to stick her tongue out and get you to copy her! She started jumping in her jumperoo and gets some serious "hops" as Kyle calls it. 😉 She is also starting to play with the toys around the chair and can turn herself around to switch sides in the jumperoo. We keep it in the kitchen and she hangs out while one of us cooks. This picture is not only adorable but is pretty typical of where she keeps her hands these days! She has been a drool box and gnawing on everything including her fingers! No teeth yet but her gums have been swollen and red so something is happening! We've been able to go swimming at Aunt Ashlan's pool quite a bit these last few months. Even though it is September, the weather is still in the triple digits here! The pool is the only real fun outdoor activity! Eden is a little fish like her sisters. I usually feed her as soon as we get to the pool but lately Eden wants nothing to do with eating and wants to see what her sisters are doing! The last time we went I ended up letting her swim for a while before trying to feed her! We are holding off on solids at least another month but we brought the high chair in and she does pretty well sitting in it. Adalyn brought her some food but Eden doesn't look fooled. 😂 I had to add this one in because her face is hilarious We had family pictures taken this month. I wanted to get family pictures in Arizona because it is beautiful here. It would have been smarter to wait until it cools off but Eden was so close to outgrowing her dress! It's a size 3 month and she is pretty much in 6 month clothes. Thankfully the size runs big because it fit pretty perfect. You could tell it was hot out by how red Adalyn's skin was in these pictures. I'm pretty sure the van read 106 degrees the evening of these pictures! 😳 I know I posted these on Facebook but I also wanted to post them here so I have them to look back on. These are some of my favorites! Because this is Eden's blog, I'll end with one of her!
