Jordyn
So much has happened these last 3 months. I'm going to try my best to summarize it and not post every picture I took! I do have to cheat and use photo grid to get more pictures in though! 😉 These crazy girls have officially stopped taking a morning nap. They are adjusting better than me! 😉I miss the morning break but I hear once we all get used to it 1 naps are easier. Jordyn's beloved WubbaNub broke last week. She bit a hole in it and it no longer sucks the same. It was very small so we didn't notice right away. It took us 3 nights of her waking up screaming her head off to figure it out. By the time we noticed she was sleeping through the night again. We figured we might as well not replace it and let her be done with a pacifier since the worst was over. I cut the tip almost off where the hole was but not all the way off. Before bed that night I let her bite the rest off while I was holding her. She laughed and I had her throw it away. She cried a good half hour but eventually fell asleep. I cut the rest of the pacifier so she just has the catapillar now. My mom has had do deal with me texting and calling her like crazy because I feel so bad her Wubby is broke. These pictures pretty much describe our fall...lots of outside time! I still cannot believe how nice it was this fall! Usually we jump summer to winter in a week! Here is my gang! I stated watching 2 others 3 days a week. Lucie is with us Monday-Wednesday and Dean is with us Tuesday-Thursday. I started with just Lucie for 2 months and that helped ease us into the new normal. Dean and Lucie's dads work with Kyle at our church. I'm so glad these 4 get to play together! Both of my girls love the babies and get so excited when they come. Adalyn has become a little mother hen! She plays near the babies and plays with her own baby dolls as well. She watches me with Dean and Lucie and will copy with her doll. My favorite thing she does is pat her baby's back and fake burp. 😂 Jordyn likes the babies but doesn't stick by their sides the entire day. She is such a busy girl. She plays with lots of toys, including dolls, and gets into lots of things she shouldn't! 😉 The best thing she has started doing is being a great helper! When I change diapers she loves to throw them away for me. She also likes wiping tables down, pushing clothes into the dryer, putting her dirty clothes in the hamper, and getting me things when I ask! She also likes giving Adalyn her doll when she sees it on the floor! Adalyn does all of this as well but Jordyn is more willing to help. I think it keeps her from being bored! We spent Thanksgiving with Kyle's family in Ohio. The girls have 3 older cousins that had lots of fun baby doll toys to play with! They also have a cousin who is 7 months older than them and it was super cute watching them play together! On the way home we were able to stop at Emily's house and hang out with her for a day. Adalyn had her first bloody accident. She tripped and bumped her head on a side table which made her fall. When she fell, a decoration fell off the table and just missed her eye! After lots of tears and cuddles she was her happy self! We got to play at the really cool free indoor play place Emily and Damon's town has! The girls enjoyed the first snow fall of the year. Adalyn wasn't too sure about it. She pretty much stayed in the same spot and didn't move unless I took her hand. Jordyn seemed to like the extra challenge of walking. She followed me around while I rolled snow into a ball for a snowman. The next day we played with it inside and they both LOVED that! It was 30 min of contained play! These girls have their moments of fighting over toys and getting into everything but they also have sweet moments like this! We were taking pictures and couldn't get Jordyn to stay put or Adalyn to smile! I said, "Jordyn, give Adalyn kisses!" and this is what happened! We were melting on the inside! I look forward to watching them grow closer as sisters as well as watching them with their new little sister in April!
